Carabao Cup

The Carabao Cup, also known as the EFL Cup or League Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in England. It features clubs from the top four divisions of English football: the Premier League, the Championship, League One, and League Two. The tournament was established in 1960 and is named after its current sponsor, Carabao, a Thai energy drink company. The Carabao Cup is one of the three main domestic cup competitions in English football, alongside the FA Cup and the Community Shield. It typically runs from August to February, concluding with a final held at Wembley Stadium. The competition offers clubs a chance to win silverware and can also provide a pathway to European competition for the winning team.
